….a way for business owners to spend less, get more and achieve substantial profits.
We attended a very informative Entrepreneur’s 2.0 Growth Conference in Miami this week sponsored by Entrepreneur Magazine and the UPS Store.
We very much enjoyed hearing from Jay Conrad Levinson, author of Guerilla Marketing. Even at the age of 78 he knows how dramatically marketing has changed in the last couple of years and the importance of changing with the times. Star Hall, author, publicist and social media strategist was a energetic speaker on “Internet Power Marketing.” Susan Gunelius discussed the importance of delivering the message your clients want to hear.
The Entrepreneurs of the Year were from very diverse businesses and offered a look at the trials we as small business owners face and helped us realize that our struggles are not ours alone. Rick Alden of Skull Candy put everything he owned on the line to bring his new business idea to fruition. Kelly Giard started Clean Air Lawn Care and built a new concept into a new franchise. Bradley Ericson started his first business when he was 10 years old. As a college student he is seeing his new idea 3SecondReceipts launch into a successful business.
For more information on all these exciting businesses be sure to see the January issue of Entrepreneur Magazine - in print or online.
